WHAT WE ACCOMPLISHED THIS WEEK

 It was a really short week so we really did not do anything except blog.

WHAT WE PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH THIS WEEK

We want to add another gear to our gear ratio to create more speed and torque.

We also need to program.

WHAT WE ACCOMPLISHED THIS WEEK

We got new VEX parts and we have changed out our gears with the new parts and our brain. 

We have successfully Built a mechanism that can load the pucks onto the ramp. 

WHAT WE PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH THIS WEEK

We are working on the launch mechanism from the hopper and hope to finish programming.

WHAT WE ACCOMPLISHED THIS WEEK

We've dismissed the claw idea, once again, and have built a hopper and guide track for the pucks.

WHAT WE PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH THIS WEEK

Thanks to Martin, our extra hockey pucks were printed over the weekend.  We want to create some sort of cylindrical casing to hold the three pucks so you do not have to reload it during the game, white scratches the claw idea.  HOWEVER, it has become apparent to us that we must pick up the pucks, so we're back to the claw.

WHAT WE ACCOMPLISHED THIS WEEK

We programmed and discussed a design for a claw but have not found one that will work to our benefit.

BUT WE GOT NEW CONTAINERS AND VEX PARTS AND THEY LOOK PRETTY.

WHAT WE PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH THIS WEEK

We need to program and make a claw (?) for our robot.

WHAT WE ACCOMPLISHED THIS WEEK

We have successfully printed our hockey puck and added wheels.

  We also figured out some small techniques for our robot to benefit us to our game.

WHAT WE PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH THIS WEEK

Apparently, our robot is not allowed to be stationary because it needs to have two drive mechanisms so we have to put wheels on and finish the main mechanism.

WHAT WE ACCOMPLISHED THIS WEEK

Our puck is just now being made, due to malfunctions of the 3D printer.

We have finished our robot and have made our rules for our game.

Essentially, our game is shuffleboard, in the sense that we'll have a puck being launched from our robot.

WHAT WE PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH THIS WEEK

We need to find a way to make our robot stationary and 3D print our hockey puck we are using for our game.

WHAT WE ACCOMPLISHED THIS WEEK

We made our chassis and we a general idea of how we are releasing the hockey puck, we started to 3D print it but it did not finish.

WHAT WE PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH THIS WEEK

We are going to make the chassis and figure out how to disperse the hockey puck with the set amount of materials.

WHAT WE ACCOMPLISHED THIS WEEK

Lizzie and Jess organized and labeled the parts, as planned.  Each group designed their own game and are now designing a robot to test it.

Our game is similar to shuffleboard; more details will be included later on, as we are still figuring it out.

WHAT WE PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH THIS WEEK

We are dismantling all of our robots and organizing all the parts into bins to distribute them equally among the groups.
